We're looking for an Agricultural Mechanic to work for our client.

They are a well-established family run organisation based in the Northwest and Belfast area of Northern Ireland, Cowan Bros NI ltd are an Agriculture and Construction Dealer offering sales, parts and servicing. They contribute their success to their in-depth knowledge and many years experience of both the agricultural and construction market and due to a prolonged period of growth, they have opportunities for Agricultural Mechanics in both their Derry/Londonderry and Belfast sites.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside a team of expert technicians preforming diagnostics, repairs and services on agricultural and construction equipment in a workshop and on site environment. The successful candidate will carry out a range of various task to the highest standard of quality.


- Diagnosing faults within the workshop and on site
- Servicing and repairing agricultural and farming machinery
- Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
- Keeping the workshop in a clean and tidy condition


- Educated to a minimum of GCSE including Maths, English and Science ( grade C or above)
Previous mechanical/technician experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of construction or agricultural equipment

Strong team building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Dependable and reliable
- Self-motivated and hard working
- Posses a full driving licence


The Package:
- Basic salary:  £26,000 - £35,000 per annum - experience dependent

- Company van (Experience dependent)
- Overtime available
- Company Pension Scheme
- In-house globally recognised training provided

Standard workings hours for this role are: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 17:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm.
